American Industrial Ornamental nickel-plated adjustable lynne portable lamp with weighted cast iron base. Designed and patented by Anker S. Lyhne in 1911, Bridgeport, CT. Ornament consists of palm leaves and scrollwork. Original socket casing contains a yellow brass bryant key socket rewired with period appropriate braided cloth cord.
